Video 3
Students will create 4-5 short films in this class. Major areas we will study are the use of a green screen and how to create an action video. At the end of the class students will create a video using everything they have learned in the class. Students will use more advanced equipment and editing techniques.
Portfolio
Each student will create a portfolio of their work to turn in at the end of the course. The portfolio will be an electronic file and show their work completed in the course. Students will be given class time to create and update the portfolio. It is a great opportunity for students to be creative and explain their ideas. The portfolio is part of the exam grade so missing work will hurt the final grade. See Schoology for information on how to start and turn in the portfolio.
Review AssignmentHow much do you remember from video 1 and video 2. Not much? A lot? Here is your chance to refresh concepts from the two classes. WALLDO, microphones, rule of thirds, transferring footage, editing, exporting, use it all in this video.
High Five ShotsYou know WALLDO, now create a video that uses WALLDO to the extreme. Create a short film that uses the most creative shots your group can imagine.

Green ScreenEver wanted to travel, well here is your chance. In this short film you will put yourself in three different locations using a green screen and royalty footage. Don't want to travel, then put yourself in a computer or transport your self around the building.
Action VideoRemember those video 1 assignments. You were running, but you had to wait for someone to tell you to start running and we saw you standing there first. This assignment will help you to get rid of that and other major mistakes people make when trying an action video.

Own Project
Students last project in this class is to design a project that uses action and green screen. This is a short film and must incorporate all the aspects of good video, sound and editing.
